Helping Bahrain-based interior designer Sonia Ashour position her firm as a curator of Islamic culture. At the heart of this brand stands a lovely Arabic statement: “Here are my roots … here is my language.” It is paired with decorative "stars,” each symbolizing an area of the firm’s expertise. The main star is comprised of girih tiles, a set of five shapes used in the creation of complex decorative tiling patterns in Islamic architecture.
