Public School

Public School Roster
What happens when you put seven talented, smart and creative guys together in one space—one really dope space? Some good parties, obviously. But don’t be fooled, this ain’t no hipster frat. This is Austin’s freshest creative collective.

It goes without saying that Public School was on our A-list of studio visits for this trip. They are selling Austin hard, tipping the scale for their hometown as a top art and design city in the U.S. We were fortunate enough to catch up with them on more than one recent occasion: a taco truck dinner during SXSW, a designer get-together at their studio and, most recently, we brought over a few Coronas and talked shop.

This post kicks off a series showcasing the work of several Public School members: Will Bryant, Justin David Cox, Casey Dunn, Matthew Genitempo, Cody Haltom, Shaun Lind and Jay B Sauceda.

    OH GREAT. These guys again.

Okay. Who am I kidding? Their work and their space is amazing. They’re like Voltron – each super-talented and powerful on his own, but they come together to make an unbeatable robot called Public School.

On top of that, there couldn’t have been a more hospitable crew in Austin during SXSW. Kudos, fellas.

    Admiring private school kid,
    Matt

I agree, these dudes totally need to get over themselves.
