One of the best things about life in Brooklyn is the backyard BBQ. A handful of our friends have charming garden spaces behind their buildings — perfect places to gather with friends on a summer night.
Our friends Jason Walzer and Andrea Floren have been hosting an annual pulled-pork BBQ for the past two years. Inspired by their trip through the Southern United States, the menu’s main dish is an amazing combo of slow-cooked pork, homemade BBQ sauce and cole slaw, all nestled into a warm bun. Jason’s newfound love for home brew provides the perfect bevy to wash it all down … delicious. I feel wonderfully full just thinking about it.
